14 members of the Security Council denounce the use of famine as a weapon of war

Fourteen members including Algeria of the UN Security Council have expressed their “deep concern” as to the use of famine as a weapon of war by the Zionist occupation in Ghaza, calling for an “immediate, unconditional, and permanent” ceasefire.

In an official declaration, fourteen members of the Security Council, namely Guyana, Slovenia, Algeria, China, Denmark, France, Greece, Pakistan, Panama The Republic of Korea, Russia, Sierra Leone, Somalia and the United Kingdom have said “concerned” by the Famine situation, now official in the Ghaza Strip. They also call for an “immediate, unconventional and permanent” ceasefire, inviting Zionist occupation to facilitate access to humanitarian aid and to renounce its plans aimed at occupying the city of Ghaza.
