2,458 families in Algiers benefit from financial assistance during the start of the school year

A total of 2,458 poor families in Algiers benefited from financial assistance of 20,000 DA each, and this, on the occasion of the start of the school year 2025-2026, registering as part of the distribution of the Zakat, said on Sunday a statement from the National Wakfs and Zakat Office. The section of the Office of the Wilaya of Algiers proceeded, in coordination with the Directorate of Religious Affairs and Wakfs, to the distribution of the Zakat to the beneficiaries, specifies the same source, adding that “2,458 poor families benefited from an amount of 20,000 DA each, paid in the current accounts of the beneficiaries”.
