The Wali of Oum El Bouaghi gave the official start of the school year 2025-2026 from the primary school “Moudjahid Mebarki Hocine”, in the commune of Aïn Zitoune located 30 kilometers from the chief town of wilaya which she is administratively.
The chief executive who was accompanied by the P/APW, the director of the Education Directorate of Oum El Bouaghi, the civil and military authorities, attended alongside students in the inaugural course whose theme is entitled “School health”.
Thus, the education sector of the wilaya of Oum El Bouaghi welcomed on this occasion of the start of the school year 2025-2026, 212,112 students distributed as follows: 98,448 of primary, including 18,693 in the preparatory year cycle, 77,847 at CEM level and finally 35,817 secondary students joined the classes in good conditions and without worry infrastructure deficit has not been recorded. As a reminder, the wilaya of Oum El Bouaghi has 586 schools including 400 primary schools, 126 CEM and 60 high schools which were reinforced for this school year of September 21, 2025 by the reception of 3 primary schools, 2 CEM and a high school.
