Mr. Charfi indicated that “since the launch of the operation to withdraw individual signature subscription forms, in anticipation of the Presidential election on September 7, following the convocation of the electorate by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, 26 applicants for candidacy for the presidential election withdrew their quotas of forms, the number of which reached 2.5 million.
He thus specified that the operation of submitting application files by applicants, at the level of the 4,903 certification points distributed throughout the national territory, will continue until the expiration of the legal deadlines, the deadline for which has been set until July 18 at midnight.
“The examination of files by ANIE will continue until July 27, the date on which the final list of candidates for this important deadline will be announced. After this date, the lists will be submitted to the Constitutional Court which will rule on the candidates on August 3,” he added.
Regarding the operation to revise the electoral lists in progress, Mr. Charfi specified that “the number of new registrants reached 229,401, with 155,858 removed, including 51,324 due to death”.
Furthermore, ANIE has set up a platform on its official website to facilitate the legalization of subscription forms for individual signatures of candidates for candidacy in the presidential election.
The platform accessible via the link https:\\rdv2024.ina-elections.dz/rdv_tesdik. It allows applicants for candidacy who have removed the individual signature subscription forms to make an appointment for the legalization of these forms outside of scheduled working hours, ANIE specified in a press release.
“Once the request for an appointment has been submitted, the person concerned is invited to confirm their request, after which an appointment is given to them, the same day, to proceed with the legalization of the individual signature subscription forms,” added the same source.
