Presidential election of September 7:
Thirty-one (31) candidates for the presidential election of September 7 have withdrawn, until the day before yesterday Sunday, the subscription forms for individual signatures, according to the National Independent Authority for Elections (ANIE).
The collection of individual signature subscription forms continues at the ANIE headquarters, at the Palais des Nations in Algiers, until
July 18, 2024 at midnight, an operation for which more than 14,000 agents were mobilized, declared the president of ANIE, Mohamed Charfi. The submission of files by applicants for candidacy is done at the 4,903 legalization points distributed across the national territory.
The examination of the files by the ANIE will continue until July 27, when the final list of candidates whose files will be sent to the Constitutional Court for validation will be announced.
