Assad remains in Damascus, Homs has not (yet) fallen, and the Syrian Arab Army remains in control of most major cities (Damascus, Latakia, Tartous, Homs, etc).

I won’t say there is no need to worry, because there definitely is. But things are not done yet. Do not draw any premature conclusions. We saw this in 2013, and again in 2016.
