Two of the most sworn enemies coming together to dictate a new reality, something akin to the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact where Nazi Germany & the USSR agreed to divide Poland among themselves.

America could take Canada, Greenland, Mexico and the Panama Canal, and Russia could get Ukraine, the Baltics, and Moldova. They could also peacefully integrate Belarus.

This is, of course, a total fantasy. But if it happened, Europe would be way too preoccupied with militarizing and defending themselves against the Russian threat in the East, they won’t have time to care about Canada, much less Greenland or Mexico.
