🇺🇸/🇮🇷 NEW: There is a disagreement within the Trump administration about how to handle the Iranian ‘nuclear issue’

President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff all prefer a ‘diplomatic solution’ in the form of a temporary nuclear deal with Iran.

On the other hand, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, and other senior administration officials are more hawkish, preferring an immediate joint US-Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities, exploiting Iran’s current perceived ‘state of weakness’.
