During an interview with the Iranian press, Seyyed Abbas Araqchi stated:

‘No nuclear facility in Iran will be dismantled. If they were capable of destroying our sites by military means, they would have surely done so. But they can’t – and that’s why they wanted to negotiate.

Some people complain about our military capabilities, specifically our missile program, saying we should limit this too, because it will be an ‘obstacle’ for a deal. But I say to them, if it wasn’t for these missiles and our defense capabilities, we wouldn’t be negotiating in the first place – they would have destroyed us.’
