‘The party strongly condemns the decision by the Lebanese cabinet led by Nawaf Salam and Joseph Aoun to disarm the resistance, which runs contrary to all sovereignty and is part of a strategy of complete surrender, pushed by the United States and Israel.

It was due to this grave error by the government that the ministers of Hezbollah and the Amal movement walked out of the meeting, to express their rejection of this ‘decision’ in the strongest possible terms.

Consequently, we, in Hezbollah, announce the following loud and clear: We will treat this decision like it does not exist. We will not cooperate with any of the government’s plans to be implemented in this regard, and we will not surrender our weapons.‘
