These comments come as both American and Israeli officials have been forced to explicitly deny Israeli control over the United States, with Vice President Vance saying last week while visiting Israel: ‘One week, they say that Israel controls the United States. A week later, they say the United States controls Israel. This is hogwash. We don’t want a client state, and that’s not what Israel is. We want a partnership. We want an ally here.’
In recent media appearances, Netanyahu has assured Americans that he does not control the United States.
