Joint IDF and ISA Announcement:

In Response to the Violation of the Ceasefire Agreement, the IDF and ISA Eliminated the Head of Hamas’ Naval Array and a Terrorist Who Took Part in Holding Israeli Hostages Captive

Yesterday (Wednesday), guided by ISA and IDF intelligence, the IDF struck Hamas targets and terrorists throughout the Gaza Strip, following the violation of the ceasefire agreement.

It can now be published that the following terrorists were eliminated during the strikes:

* Abdallah Abu Shamala – Head of the Naval Array of the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip, a senior Hamas terrorist who held different commanding positions in the naval array over the years. The terrorist was involved in the naval array’s infiltration attempt into the Zikim outpost during Operation “Protective Edge”, took part in training the naval array and planning the naval infiltration during the brutal October 7th massacre. Shamala also advanced numerous terror attacks throughout the war against IDF troops, and naval targets in particular.

* Fadi Abu Mustafa – Chief Constructor of the Battalion’s Terror Tunnel Network in the Khan Yunis Brigade of the Hamas terrorist organization, who took part in holding Israeli hostages captive, including Nimrod Cohen, David Cunio, and additional hostages.
