A short while ago, IDF troops operating in the Rafah area conducted scans and identified two additional terrorists. The troops fired at them and eliminated them. It is likely that these were the terrorists who exited the underground terror infrastructure yesterday in eastern Rafah and subsequently attempted to hide.

Following this elimination, the number of terrorists eliminated today in this area rises to five.

IDF troops in the Southern Command remain deployed in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
