Joint IDF and ISA Announcement:

A short while ago, as part of a joint IDF and ISA operation in the area of southern Jenin, the forces eliminated the terrorist Sultan al-Ghani, who carried out the terror attack against Gideon Perry, an attack in which the terrorist attached and murdered him with a hammer, stole his firearm and vehicle, and escaped.

During an overnight operation, IDF soldiers apprehended five accomplice terrorists. Following that, the forces encircled the building in which the terrorist was fortified, and after a fire exchange, the soldiers eliminated the terrorist.

Following a search in the structure, the soldiers located a ‘Carlo’ style weapon, an M16 weapon, explosives, and magazines with ammunition.

Since his escape following the attack on August 18th, 2024, the ISA and IDF conducted a consecutive intelligence effort to close the circle and eliminate the terrorist.

The Israeli Security Forces continue counterterrorism efforts against anyone who harms or tries to harm Israeli civilans and security forces.
