— 🇾🇪/🇦🇪/🇸🇦 NEW: The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) forces have captured the city of Seiyun in Yemen’s central Hadramawt Governorate

The capture of the city comes amid a wider STC offensive against the Saudi-backed ‘Hadramawt Tribal Coalition’ that controlled most of the area until now.

This marks the first direct conflict between UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council and the Saudi-backed Hadramawt Tribes.

Ansrallah (the Houthis) are not involved in the fighting, as they are not present in central, southern or eastern Yemen.
