‘In some parts of the country, protests have moved beyond the peaceful phase, entering into organized and destructive riots.
Attacks on police headquarters, police stations, and precincts will not be tolerated.
We will no longer be lenient: The police’s mild behavior was towards peaceful protesters—not rioters, terrorists, security disruptors, infiltrators, and enemy saboteurs who seek to disturb public order and security.’
