The Minister of Housing, Town Planning and the City, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, said, the day before yesterday, in Biskra that 90 % of the program registered on the finance law in terms of school constructions was launched on the ground. Finding that the implementation of this important program is also due to the continuous monitoring of local authorities which led to the acceleration of the rhythm of the sites in order to have the establishments received within the time limits.
Speaking on the sidelines of the working visit he made in this wilaya, Tarek Belaribi, on occasion announced the reception, across the country, of 322 new school structures for the next school year.
“The work to carry out the schools in question, intended for the three levels of education, and which required a public investment of 94 billion dinars, was completely completed,” he said.
Stressing that all the work relating to the programs of public facilities are now launched during the same year, the registration, study and service operations being carried out in a determined period.
The increase, compared to previous years, of the number of structures having to be received, continued the Minister of Housing, Town Planning and the City, translated the firm will of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to redouble their efforts in order to improve the conditions of schooling, in particular in the newly carried out residential cities.
“The habitat sector will start, from September, the realization of 224 new structures under the education sector across the country,” said Tarek Belaribi.
The Minister had started his inspection and work visit to the wilaya of Biskra by presiding, at the headquarters of the wilaya, a meeting during which he listened to an exhaustive presentation on public facilities in the National Education sector, before inaugurating and inspecting several schools in the municipalities of Biskra and Djemorah.
During the presentation of a global report on the state of the public equipment sector in the wilaya of Biskra, the minister insisted on the imperative to accelerate the launch of projects.
“All public equipment programs enrolled in 2025 have actually started. The recording, study and service order are now carried out the same year, as demonstrated by the case of Biskra.
