🇵🇱 Poland’s state-owned arms company Mesko has reported the best financial results in its 100-year history
As of April 2026, the company said it achieved record revenues exceeding 2.2 billion PLN ($607 million) for the 2025 fiscal year, driven largely by international demand for its Piorun MPADS.
The company attributes much of this growth to the system’s battlefield performance in Ukraine.
Key export contracts include:
🇸🇪 Sweden: a major order worth about 3 billion SEK (~$320 million), with deliveries starting in early 2026
🇳🇴🇺🇸 Norway and the United States: significant orders of several hundred systems each
🇬🇪🇲🇩Georgia and Moldova: agreements signed in 2024–2025 for air defense modernization
Production has increased from around 300 units in 2019 to about 1,300 in 2025, with a target of 2,500 annually by 2028.
The company is also developing an upgraded system, the Piorun 2 (“Grzmot”), with improved range and new rocket motors.
