Russia claims to have shot down 3 Ukrainian missiles

Roman Starovoyt, the governor of Russia’s Kursk Oblast, has said that an air defence system had been responding over Kursk and Kursk Oblast on the night of 14-15 January, and later reported three downed “Ukrainian missiles”.

Updated: Later, Starovoit said that preliminary information indicates that “three Ukrainian missiles had allegedly been shot down over the territory of the Fatezhsky district by regular air defence systems”.

In the morning, the Russian Ministry of Defence reported that “three Tochka-U missiles were destroyed over Kursk Oblast by regular air defence systems”.
