Woman’s body recovered from rubble following Russian airstrike on Kupiansk

A woman’s body was recovered from under the rubble of a building in the city of Kupiansk, with the building itself being destroyed in a Russian attack on 17 February. The attack has so far claimed the life of one civilian and injured another five.

Background:

• A two-storey house with two entrances was destroyed in a Russian attack on Kupiansk (Kharkiv Oblast) on 17 February, with at least five other private houses damaged. It was earlier reported that five people sustained injuries in the attack and more could be trapped under the rubble.
