The Internet continues to discuss this year’s Oscars, including the outfits of the stars and interesting moments from the ceremony, in particular, the first Oscar ever awarded to a Ukrainian film, which was given to director Mstyslav Chernov, photojournalist Yevhen Malolietka and journalist Vasylisa Stepanenko for their documentary 20 Days in Mariupol.

The whole crew chose black outfits for the ceremony. Chernov’s outfit was made more interesting by the symbolic lining of his jacket. The suit was specially made for the director by Indposhiv. The inside was coloured a deep blue, with the Ukrainian word for “freedom” written on it in yellow letters.
