Russian Volunteer Corps declares intent to fire on military targets in Belgorod and Kursk oblasts within 1.5 hours

Denis Nikitin, the leader and founder of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC), has stated that anti-regime Russian military volunteers will open fire on military targets in Belgorod and Kursk oblasts within 1.5 hours.

Your leadership has taken no measures for your protection or evacuation, while attacks on peaceful towns and villages in Ukraine continue unabated. We are forced to open fire in response upon military targets in border regions! Evacuate immediately.

I am directly addressing the residents of these oblasts. Leave Kursk, Belgorod and all major population centres immediately. We will open fire on military targets in this area within 1.5 hours of this announcement.“

Background: On March 13, Russian military volunteers published a joint statement announcing strikes on Russian military positions in Belgorod and Kursk and calling on residents to evacuate.
