Commander of the Ground Forces of Ukraine’s Armed Forces Oleksandr Pavliuk considers negative attitude towards employees of military enlistment offices unacceptable and warns that no one will allow violations of the rights of the military.

Quote from Pavliuk: “The Armed Forces of Ukraine are the only force capable of stopping and destroying the enemy. How did society start to be afraid of the military and allow themselves to insult them? Today, most of the employees of the military enlistment offices are yesterday’s warriors, whom everyone admired and was proud of. What happened? Why are people hiding from them today, why do they despise, harass and even fight with the military? This is unacceptable.”

Details: The commander said that servicemen and veterans are not beggars or agitators, but people who have fulfilled their constitutional duty. “We have no right to allow them to feel guilty, unnecessary or dangerous in front of those whose lives they literally saved,” he said.
Pavliuk acknowledged that the military enlistment offices’ system is not perfect, and the work is underway to improve it. He added that law enforcement agencies promptly respond to all cases of abuse of authority by the Ground Forces Command. “We will not tolerate violations of civilians’ rights, but we will not allow violations of the rights of the military either,” the commander warned.
“All Ukrainian citizens must keep their heads cool and realise one simple truth: the army and the people are one. Especially during the fight for the existence of the state,” Pavliuk said.
