Argentina demands the international arrest of those responsible for the attack on the AMIA in 1994, which caused the death of 85 people, and they continue in their positions of power with total impunity.

One of them is Ahmad Vahidi, wanted by the Argentine Justice as one of those responsible for the attack against the AMIA. This individual is currently Minister of the Interior of the Islamic Republic of Iran and is part of a government delegation that is currently in Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

In this context, at the request of the Argentine authorities, the Interpol Central Office based in Lyon issued a Red Circular for his arrest.

On the occasion of his trip, Argentina has requested the governments of Pakistan and Sri Lanka to arrest him in accordance with the mechanisms provided by Interpol.

In parallel with the work being done by the Ministry of Security and the Argentine Foreign Ministry with the intervention of the Embassies of our country in Pakistan and India, the Buenos Aires National Central Office (OCN) of Interpol is also involved in this process.
