Russia attacks Odesa: 4 killed and 17 wounded, students’ leisure centre on fire – photo


The Russian army launched a missile strike on the city of Odessa. Currently, there is information that eight people were injured and a fire broke out in the Palace of Students of the National University Odesa Law Academy [a palace of students is a leisure centre for a university’s student youth, it provides organisational and methodological assistance to faculties and organises cultural and educational work – ed].

Quote from Kiper: “Sadly, two people and a dog were killed in Russia’s missile attack.

Eight more people received injuries of varying degrees of severity. A 12-year-old boy is among the people injured. They are receiving the necessary treatment from the medics.

There is damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure.”

Update at 20:01: At 19:55, Kiper reported that the number of people injured in the Russian missile attack had risen to 17. At least two of them are in serious condition.

The mayor of Odesa posted photos of the aftermath of the Russian attack on the city, which show a roof almost completely destroyed by fire.

 

He also reports that 20 people have been injured.

Sources in law enforcement agencies told Ukrainska Pravda that 17 people were reported injured and four people killed.
