IDF: Today (Friday), the IDF, the National Institute of Forensic Medicine and the Ministry of Health notified the family of Elyakim Libman, who until today had been classified as a hostage, that he was murdered in the October 7th massacre led by the Hamas terrorist organization and that his body was found in Israeli territory.
This determination was based on field evidence, following a thorough and complex investigation conducted by the IDF, Israel Police, and the National Institute of Forensic Medicine.
The IDF, together with all the relevant authorities, will continue to accompany the hostages’ families.
