The newspaper writes that the transfer began against the background of the Emirates’ ban on striking targets in Yemen and Iraq using equipment located at the Al Dhafra base near Abu Dhabi.
“These restrictions are based on self-protection,” officials explained.
The UAE does not want to become a “target of Iran-backed forces” for facilitating US military operations.
