🇷🇺🇪🇺 Russia is preparing sabotage in Europe, the Financial Times reports, citing intelligence findings from three unnamed countries.
EU governments have already received such warnings, according to a British newspaper.
Russia is “heading for a permanent conflict with the West” and “has already begun to more actively prepare secret explosions, arson and damage to infrastructure on European territory.”
A senior European government official said information was being circulated through NATO security services about “clear and convincing Russian action, coordinated and widespread.”
One intelligence official said the increased activity reflected Russia’s desire to apply maximum pressure “on all fronts.”
In this context, the newspaper mentions a number of emergency situations at military factories – a recent fire at an enterprise in Berlin , which is involved in the production of IRIS-T air defense systems for Ukraine. And also an “unexplained explosion” at the BAE Systems ammunition plant in Wales.
True, the article does not provide evidence that Moscow was involved in these incidents.
