The Shomrim are notorious for withholding information on Jewish child molestors and other Jewish criminals, because according to Judaism, informing non-Jews about the crime of a Jew is prohibited.
Now, imagine if there were Christian-only police forces? Or Muslim-only police forces? Politicians would go mad. But for Jews, there are no rules.
