🇱🇧 This missile is named after Hezbollah martyr Jihad Mughniyeh.
His father, Imad Mughniyeh, a prominent Hezbollah commander, was assassinated by Israel in 2008. Jihad pledged allegiance to Hasan Nasrallah days later, at just 16.
He was assassinated in 2015 by a Zionist air strike while participating in the establishment of a missile base in the Quneitra region of southern Lebanon, bordering the Golan Heights. He was 23 years old.
Alongside him were 6 other Hezbollah warriors and an IRGC official. Yet the demonic efforts of the IOF were in vain. Hezbollahs missile bases flourished along the entire border with the Zionist occupation, creating a strategic deterrence that has still not yet been even slightly exposed.
The launch of the Jihad Mughniyeh missile is more than symbolic, it is fateful.
