In recent weeks, the IDF and the Ministry of Defense have made extensive preparations to receive the temporary floating pier.
This has involved ongoing cooperation between the IDF and COGAT with US CENTCOM to establish the temporary floating pier for humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip.
Accordingly, for the first time since the establishment of the temporary floating pier, today (Friday) IDF supported the transfer of 310 pallets of humanitarian aid into Gaza for distribution.
The IDF will continue its efforts to facilitate and increase the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip by land, air and sea, and in accordance with international law.
