🇺🇸🇯🇵The Nikkei newspaper reported that these video clips later appeared on a Chinese social network and on X

The newspaper indicated that the Japanese Ministry of Defense analyzed the images and practically verified their authenticity.

According to the article, of particular concern is that a drone equipped with cameras flew unhindered directly over the deck of a Japanese helicopter carrier, posing a direct threat to its safety.

It is noteworthy that the “Izumo” and “Kaga” helicopter carriers are the largest ships of the Japanese Navy, with a displacement of 19.5 thousand tons and a length of 248 meters. Each of them can carry 14 helicopters and transport 470 soldiers to the site of operations. These ships are now being converted into light aircraft carriers after modernization, and will be able to accommodate 10 F-35B fighter aircraft.
