L’unité de matière première de Médéa relancée – Le Jeune Indépendant

The minister did not fail to express his satisfaction after the efforts made by the managers and workers of the complex, because, he indicated, the rehabilitation of the fermentation workshops and the production workshops of this unit will make it possible to make available the raw materials of certain medicines that are imported from abroad since 2012.

And added “From now on, the importation of these raw materials will be stopped which, before the closure of this unit, were produced here and exported to Mexico as raw materials. We also exported to Iraq. Today, we are witnessing the relaunch of this unit, thanks to the commitment of the executives of this complex after recalling those who had retired, they are warmly thanked! “.

During his visit, the minister supervised the signing ceremony of a partnership agreement between the Saidal complex and the Agrodiv Group in the Phoenix Biotech project for the fermentation of medium quality dates for the production of yeast for the benefit of unit of the latter based in Oran, in addition to the extraction of products such as ethanol, glucose and fructose and various types of fermentations, etc.

Thus, the strategy of Mr. Ali Aoun’s department is working hard so that “Saidal can regain its leading position” in the field of medicine, a place that it is gradually taking back and becoming the locomotive in the pharmaceutical industry in Algeria. As such, the challenge is to restart all the units was launched by the department of industry and pharmaceutical production, including the complex unit of Médéa which manufactured the raw material for antibiotics, according to Ali Aoun.
