17th edition of the Ooredoo Media Star competition
As part of the 17th edition of its Media Star journalistic competition, Ooredoo reminds journalists wishing to participate that submission of applications is open until June 27, 2024. The Media Star competition is open to work in the languages Arabic, Tamazight, French and English, having been published and broadcast in the Algerian media between Monday September 25, 2023 and June 27, 2024 (inclusive). This 17th edition of the competition, which coincides this year with the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Ooredoo in Algeria, offers a topical theme namely: “Digital transformation and Artificial Intelligence in Algeria: Issues and Challenges” which aligns perfectly with the digital strategy of Ooredoo and the digital ecosystem in Algeria.
With a view to 100% digitization of the competition, Ooredoo has set up a dedicated platform allowing journalists to submit their applications in an innovative way. To do this, they must access the platform via the links http://ore.do/media-star-participation then fill out a form and attach the necessary supporting documents (ID photo, press card and journalistic work such as articles, sound recordings and videos). It should be noted that the Media Star competition is aimed at professional journalists working in different media media: written, electronic, radio and television press. It rewards the best work in all journalistic genres.
The prizes will reward the best work in the following categories: general and specialized written press; electronic media; radio programs and television programs.
