Three buses and three vans were chartered for their trip to Algiers airport. The vans were chartered to transport the pilgrims’ luggage. Regarding the remaining 48 pilgrims, their departure is planned in the next few days.

Among those who set off last Thursday was a woman in her nineties. She is more exactly 94 years old. She dedicated her pilgrimage for her late husband who is a martyr of the glorious national liberation war. He fell on the field of honor with weapons in his hands.

It should be noted that this departure for Mecca was carefully prepared by the public authorities, so that the trip in question and the pilgrims’ stay at the Holy Places of Islam take place in the best possible conditions.
