The countdown now begins for students in exam classes. A week separates them from the Brevet d’enseignement supérieur (BEM) exam, which will take place from June 3 to 5, while baccalaureate candidates will take their tests from June 9 to 13. This year, there are more than 1.5 million candidates registered for these two national exams.

To achieve this objective, the national education consultant, Kamel Nouari, urged candidates for these two exams to organize their revision schedule for each subject, by determining an order and revision times, and to practice on the subjects of previous sessions, ensuring that the time set for each test is respected and optimized.
He also called on them to avoid any distraction that could influence their ability to memorize or concentrate during this crucial period, like cell phones and television, advocating, in this context, revision in small groups, without for you might as well neglect individual review.
“This method cannot replace collective revision in class with teachers in educational establishments, which proves to be very instructive and beneficial for the student, both for the assimilation of lessons and for psychological well-being,” he said.
The specialist said he was in favor of the courses, exercises and memorization sessions available on the internet, which are very popular with students wishing to improve their level.
Furthermore, Mr. Nouari urged parents of students to accompany their children and continue to encourage them until the last day of exams, emphasizing family support, which is essential for the psychological well-being of their children and which constitutes a real engine of motivation, promoting the assimilation and memorization of courses, in addition to reinforcing the feeling of confidence in the candidate, being the first factor of success.
It should be noted that the Minister of National Education, aware of the impact of the stress suffered by learners, affirmed that all the conditions are met for the smooth running of the baccalaureate examination tests for the June 2023 session, in serenity and seriousness, emphasizing that the desire of the ministry is to also offer good conditions to candidates from the South and to take a certain number of measures.
During previous meetings with executives in his sector, the minister indicated that the decisions taken particularly concern candidates from the south of the country. They consist of reinforcing all procedure centers in terms of security, painting the walls if there is writing on them, supporting lighting and allocating space to store everything that has been requisitioned as means of communication . In case there are people with visual impairments, the examination will be done with Braille technology, and people with motor disabilities will also be taken care of. Mr. Belabed insisted on air conditioning, especially in areas that experience very high temperatures.
