La collecte des signatures au lendemain de la convocation du corps électoral – Le Jeune Indépendant

The withdrawal of individual signature subscription forms for candidates for candidacy in the presidential election of September 7 is planned from the day after the convening of the electoral body, announced the president of the Independent National Electoral Authority (ANIE ), Mohamed Charfi, stressing that all the necessary measures have been taken to guarantee the progress of the operation.

Speaking on the sidelines of the inauguration of the new headquarters of the wilaya delegation of ANIE, in Guelma, Mr. Charfi specified that the authority has completed all its preparations prior to the distribution of signature subscription forms to candidates for the presidential election, the day after the signing, by the President of the Republic, of the decree convening the electoral body for this important deadline.

Reviewing the arrangements for organizing the next vote, the official added that preparations have been made to guarantee the smooth running of the operation to legalize the signature subscription forms.

“this operation will be carried out thanks to the mobilization of a sufficient number of notaries and bailiffs to carry it out within the legally established deadlines,” he indicated.

Charfi wanted to ensure that the organizational preparations for the next presidential election, including the exceptional revision of the electoral lists, will be carried out in accordance with the provisions provided for by the organic law of 2021 relating to the electoral regime, stressing that Algeria has reached “a high level of mastery of all stages of the electoral process, so that no one, whether inside the country or outside, can contest the elections in Algeria.

On the other hand, the president of ANIE recalled that the decision to include a certain number of young people who have reached the legal voting age (18 years), and registered for the first time on the electoral lists, in the lists of the management of polling stations and offices, during the presidential election of September 7, “will at the same time make it possible to involve this important segment of the population in political life”.
