Charged by the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, Mr. Nadir Larbaoui, chaired, this Saturday, the ceremony of awarding the “Ali Maachi” Prize of the President of the Republic, on the occasion of the commemoration of the National Day of the artist.
The ceremony took place at the Abdellatif-Rahal International Conference Center (CIC). This event is part of the celebration of National Artist’s Day, June 8.
It was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Arts under the patronage of the President of the Republic, to demonstrate its constant concern to promote culture and the status of the artist, encourage research and production in the various arts and create an environment conducive to the emergence and development of artistic talents and their promotion, as he promised in his 54 commitments.
This prize notably rewards the first winners in numerous artistic and literary fields, novels and poetry, theater, dramatic writing, musical works, cinema as well as the visual arts.
