Some 17,476 candidates for the 2024 baccalaureate are expected through 57 examination centers designated for this purpose in the wilaya of Médéa, according to data communicated during the last meeting of the central commission for monitoring official examinations, chaired by the wali, Djahid Mous.

In his presentation relating to the conditions of preparation for this important national event, the director of education, Zineddine Benbouzid, specified that all human and material resources have been put in place to guarantee the smooth running of the baccalaureate exam. 2024 session, which will begin this Sunday, June 9.

According to the same official, 17,476 baccalaureate candidates are registered, including 10,301 girls and 6,118 independent candidates, distributed across 57 examination centers and 2 examination centers reserved for prisoners from Berrouaghia re-education and rehabilitation establishments. and Boughezoul.

As for the logistics aspect, the sector has planned the mobilization of no less than 290 vehicles for the transport of candidates and supervisors, in order to allow them to be present in the examination centers before the start of the tests and to be able to eat. on site in the canteens, which will remain open throughout the duration of the exam.

In addition, the directorate of religious affairs and wakfs of the wilaya of Médéa indicated that it provides mosques and Koranic schools located near the examination centers in order to allow baccalaureate candidates who wish to do so to rest or revise at break time, away from the outside heat.

In its message, the same management invited the candidates to demonstrate honesty in their answers, by not using fraudulent practices and cheating, which are acts that religion rejects, while wishing everyone every success in this exam which opens the doors to university for them.
