The secretary general of the National Liberation Front (FLN), Abdelkrim Benmbarek, affirmed the day before yesterday Friday from the wilaya of Béchar, the mobilization of his political group to contribute to the success of the presidential election on September 7. Speaking at a regional gathering of FLN executives and activists from the wilayas of the southwest of the country,
Mr. Benmbarek indicated that “the FLN is mobilized to contribute massively to the success of the presidential election on September 7, with the sole aim of allowing the Algerian people to choose the one who governs them and also for the continuation of the country’s economic and social development efforts. In this regard, he called on the activists of his party to massively adhere to both the preparation and the electoral campaign, with a view to strengthening the domestic front and contributing to the development of the country. The SG of the FLN also highlighted the efforts undertaken for the development of the South-West regions of the country through the launch of mega projects, such as the exploitation of the iron deposits of Gara Djebilet (Tindouf) and the railway Béchar-Tindouf.

Mr. Benmbarek indicated that “the FLN welcomes the positions of Algeria and its support for the just causes of the Sahrawi and Palestinian peoples, peoples robbed of their legitimate rights.”
