The National People’s Army (ANP) continues to tirelessly accomplish its constitutional missions, as well as strengthening its combat capabilities to face all threats. This is what the magazine said El Djeïch Magazine of the National People’s Army founded in July 1963 in its latest issue.
“The ANP, worthy heir of the ALN and custodian of its sacred message, continues to tirelessly accomplish, with competence, commitment and dedication, its constitutional missions,” specifies El Djeïch in his editorial.
The Editorial notes that the primary concern of the ANP High Command is to strengthen the operational availability of the Army and its combat capabilities, to ensure the improvement of its performances to ensure a total and permanent ability to meet the different challenges and to face all threats, after having taken significant steps on this path, thanks to the adoption of a comprehensive approach, carefully studied, based on the provision of the forces with the most modern equipment as well as on the permanent and continuous training and preparation for combat.
The same source recalls, in this respect, the renovation and modernization of infrastructures (of the ANP) by relying essentially on a competent human resource mastering modern, cutting-edge and complex sciences and technologies, a resource capable of meeting the various challenges and issues and anticipate events and developments that may arise in the future.
With this in mind, the magazine highlighted the remarks of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, who had affirmed, during his last visit to the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defense (MDN), that “the preservation of national sovereignty rests on a strong and feared Army and a developed economy, assertions that he reiterated during his visit, on May 30, to the wilaya of Khenchela, emphasizing that powerful countries are those that have a strong army and economy.
In the same context, El Djeïch indicated that “the qualitative results obtained, whether on the operational level or in terms of combat preparation, reflect the development achieved by our ANP, particularly in recent years, citing in this regard the maneuvers and demonstrative exercises carried out with success and a high level of professionalism by the different components of our armed forces.”
“Thanks to this, the prestige of the country will only increase, its flag will fly proudly and in the firmament in the concert of nations. We must work with diligence and determination, each in their position, to complete the process of building a strong state internally so that it is able to impose itself externally so that Algeria remains always strong and prosperous by its economy and its capacities, solid and united by its people and its institutions, secure by its ANP, impregnable bastion of Algeria, guarantor of its sovereignty and its unity and depositary of the oath sworn to our glorious Chouhada,” concludes the editorial ofEl Djeïch.
