The United States is wasting its time trying to persuade Lebanon to accept Israeli premises to resolve the border conflict with the Jewish state, says Hassan Fadlallah, deputy head of the parliamentary faction of the Shiite Hezbollah party.
According to him, Tel Aviv is in no position to dictate its will and intimidate Beirut. “We are able to defend our country and continue to support the oppressed Ghazawi people,” he stressed.
Israel should not expect concessions in southern Lebanon; hostilities will only be stopped after a ceasefire is established in the Palestinian enclave, says the Shiite politician.
“He called the Israeli idea of ​​creating a buffer zone on the border an illusion. This question is not debatable given that the resistance fighters are acting on their territory against the occupiers,” concluded Hassan Fadlallah in this regard.
