The Ministry of National Defense announced Wednesday in a press release that young citizens born before January 1, 1995, and not yet incorporated, are exempt from national service obligations.
“In accordance with the provisions of Presidential Decree 24-184 of June 11, 2024 exempting citizens subject to national service obligations, decided by the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, the Ministry of National Defense informs young citizens born before January 1, 1995, not yet incorporated, that they are invited to contact the structures of the national service to which they belong, to satisfy the administrative formalities inherent to this operation, provided with a copy of the national identity card and two identity photos,” notes the same source.
Thus, the timetable for the citizens concerned to pass through the national service structures is fixed according to the month of birth and is established as follows:
– People born in January (from June 30 to July 4, 2024)
– People born in February (July 7 to 11, 2024)
– People born in March (July 14 to 18, 2024)
– People born in April (July 21 to 25, 2024)
– People born in May (from July 28 to August 1, 2024)
– People born in June (August 4 to 8, 2024)
– People born in July (August 11 to 15, 2024)
– People born in August (August 18 to 22, 2024)
– People born in September (August 25 to 29, 2024)
– People born in October (from September 1 to 5, 2024)
– People born in November (September 8 to 12, 2024)
– People born in December (September 15 to 19, 2024).
