Holding of the 1st Algerian-Korean forum on energy efficiency

The 1st Algerian-Korean forum on energy efficiency will be organized tomorrow Monday in Algiers, with a view to exchanging and sharing know-how as well as strengthening cooperation in this area, the Renewable Energy Commission said yesterday Saturday and energy efficiency (Cerefe). The forum will constitute, according to a Cerefe press release, “an opportunity to exchange experience in terms of energy efficiency of domestic electrical appliances, to share regulations relating to energy efficiency, including those linked to labeling and the minimum energy performance standards for domestic electrical appliances and the typology of projects dedicated to the energy efficiency of domestic electrical appliances. During this forum, the presentation of the implementation of the quality infrastructure for household appliances, in particular air conditioners, for the benefit of the National Testing Laboratory (LNE) is planned. This event will be marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Cerefe and the Korea Energy Agency (KEA) with the aim of promoting a lasting and mutually beneficial partnership, establishing comprehensive and diversified cooperation between both parties and to exchange expertise and know-how in the areas of energy efficiency, renewable energy, green hydrogen and clean mobility, the press release said.
