From the end of July, subscribers to AADL housing will be able to pay online the payment of the monthly rent for AADL housing, as well as the installments of subscribers to this housing program via the BaridiMob application. This was indicated by Louai Zidi, general director of Algérie Poste.
This announcement was made following the signing of a framework agreement between the National Agency for the Improvement and Development of Housing (AADL) and the company Algérie Poste (AP), making it possible to activate the electronic payment service via the BaridiMob application, for the settlement of these payments.
The agreement was signed at the headquarters of the AADL Agency by its Director General, Fouad Mokrani and the Director General of Algeria Post, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Housing, Urban Planning and the City, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi and the Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Karim Bibi Triki.
Zidi affirmed that work continues to ensure a product that meets the requirements, by providing a set of payment methods, with a view to consolidating financial inclusion and helping to reduce citizens’ recourse to cash payment. . He also affirmed that the digitization of the AADL Agency’s royalty payment operation will save beneficiaries and subscribers the trouble of traveling to bank branches to carry out this operation.
For his part, Mr. Mokrani indicated that in addition to the payment of the monthly rent and installments via BardiMob, these two operations can be carried out via post offices (currently through the branches of Crédit populaire d’Algérie), the ATMs, the BardiNet service, as well as the QR code, while ensuring automatic payment in the various administrative structures under the AADL Agency. This agreement will also ensure the automatic debit service on the account of beneficiaries of the leasing program.
Following this signing, the company Algérie Poste will be given priority to acquire the commercial premises under the Agency, in order to ensure the presence of post offices in AADL cities in different wilayas, as well as the equipment of the cities with automatic teller machines (ATMs), with a view to paying the monthly rent.
It should be noted that the CEO of Algeria Post recalled that the company has “a successful experience” in paying bills with the two companies SEAAL and Algeria Telecom, through the BardiMob application.
