Taux de réussite national de 62 % – Le Jeune Indépendant


The national success rate for the Brevet d’enseignement moyen (BEM) exam, June 2024 session, reached 62.85% among those who achieved an average equivalent to or greater than 10 out of 20, the Ministry of National Education said in a press release on Thursday.

According to the ministry, the total number of registered school candidates amounts to 805,444 candidates, including 799,612 school candidates who took the exam, and among whom 502,521 candidates were admitted.

According to the same source, the number of educated candidates admitted with honors amounts to 263,088 candidates, distributed among 7,874 candidates with Excellent honors, 45,554 candidates with Very Good honors, 79,334 with Good honors and 130,326 candidates with Fairly Good honors.

As for students admitted to the first year of secondary school, their number amounts to 585,882 candidates, a rate of 73.27%.

On this occasion, the ministry addresses its thanks to the members of the educational corporation, “for the efforts they have made throughout the school year, as well as to the ministerial departments and security forces, for their contribution to the success of this examination.
