The Secretary General of the National Liberation Front (FLN) party, Abdelkrim Benmbarek, presided over the installation ceremony of several presidents of transitional committees of Mouhafadate the day before yesterday in Algiers. The installation ceremony is part of “the completion of the installation operations launched by the political leadership of the party, in anticipation of the next election,” a Party statement said. In a speech delivered on this occasion, Mr. Benmbarek affirmed that this installation operation “comes following the reports submitted by the supervisors sent to the wilayas,” emphasizing the need to “unify and continue strengthening the party’s militant base, by opening the field of membership.” He also stressed the importance of “optimal preparation for the operation of collecting individual signatures for the party’s candidate in the next presidential election.” It should be noted that the operation of installing the presidents of the transitional committees concerned the Mouhafadate of Blida, Draria, Naama, Béchar, Constantine, Médéa, El Tarf, Timimoun, Béjaïa, Adrar, M’sila and Souk Ahras.
