61.27% success in the BEM

The success rate this year in the 2024 middle school certificate exam “BEM” in the wilaya of Oum El Bouaghi reached 61.27%, not far from the national rate this year which is 62.85%.
This success rate is a slight increase of 3.26% compared to that of the previous year which was 58.01%. Out of 157,83 candidates, 9,671 students saw their academic efforts rewarded, 202 obtained their BEM with mention of excellence and were able to obtain an average ranging from 18 to 19.56. 407 managed to obtain an average above 17 out of 20, 551 students were able to obtain an average above 16 out of 20 and 1553 other students with a mark of 14 and above. Note that first place went to student Mazouz Racha Lamisse with 19.56 from CEM Djebaili Ahmed from Oum El Bouaghi. The establishments which stood out with a high rate are respectively the CEM. Dhif Lamri from Bir Rogaa with 90%, followed by CEM Benzoua Ferhat from Oum El bouaghi with 88.17% and CEM Lalla Fatma N’Soumeur from Ain Beïda also with 88.17%. Note that the success rate for the transition to the first year of secondary school is almost similar to the national rate and is around 74%. Compared to previous years, “the success rate of this BEM 2024 session in the wilaya of Oum El Bouaghi is acceptable”, say the parents of the students. Taking this opportunity, the director of the education department of the wilaya of Oum El Bouaghi Chaabane Mohamed would like to thank the heads of the centers and the supervisors who made considerable efforts during the BEM tests.
