The Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Mokhtar Didouche, last Monday, a working and inspection visit to the wilaya of Mostaganem where he supervised the granting of seven beach operating agreements and authorizations for homestay accommodation, as part of improving the tourist offers offered and providing quality services to vacationers. First point of his trip, the government representative Mokhtar Didouche headed to the conference room of the headquarters of the wilaya where a picture of the tourism and handicrafts sector was painted by the director of tourism of the wilaya. Subsequently, he supervised the granting of seven beach operating agreements and authorizations for homestay accommodation, within the framework of improving the tourist offers offered and providing quality services to vacationers. The host of the wilaya then went to the daïra of Sidi Lakhdar, Mokhtar Didouche inspected, beforehand, the tourist expansion zone ZET “Kef Lasfer”, in the commune of Sidi Lakhdar, whose constraints were lifted, recently, for the development of an area of 28 hectares of the total surface of the site, which has a large tourist attraction especially during the summer season. In this commune, the minister inspected the work of the summer camp at Petit Port, which is awaiting its partial opening to welcome children from the south of the country, during this summer season 2024. The Minister of Tourism and the strong delegation that accompanied him headed to the Bourahma recreational forest located in the commune of Ben Abdelmalek Ramdane, the Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts Mokhtar Didouche stressed that the new forest tourism schemes open up investment prospects and the creation of family recreational spaces. The minister indicated, during his inspection visit to the Bourahma Leisure and Entertainment Forest, as part of his inspection visit to the wilaya, that “the concept of forest tourism, with its new forms, opens up investment horizons and the creation of recreational spaces, allowing the improvement of the national tourist product and the support of the economy by creating new jobs.” Not far from this site, the government representative inaugurated the tourist information and orientation office and a sales area for traditional craft products within the same ferry terminal. Back in Mostaganem, the capital of the wilaya, the host of the wilaya inspected the ZET des Sablettes, the tourist residence, Les Roses and the conditions for welcoming families and holidaymakers during this season.
