The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has officially announced his candidacy to run for a second term in the presidential election on September 7.
President Tebboune announced his candidacy in the periodic meeting with the national media, a small excerpt of which was published this Thursday afternoon on the official page of the Presidency of the Republic on Facebook. He affirmed that he “accedes the wishes of the political parties and national organizations” which called on him to run for a second term.
